Laser Shot introduces the new Interactive Judgmental Trainer designed to address the “use of force” continuum training that law enforcement professionals face on a daily basis. What differentiates this system from other Laser Shot law enforcement trainers is that it focuses on multiple shooters and their reactionary decisions and/or deployment of weapon systems in certain simulated scenarios. The Interactive Judgmental Trainer allows instructors the benefit of conducting “cover/contact” training while exercising “use of force” options.
An important training element of the Interactive Judgmental Trainer is it’s incorporation with Laser Shot’s After Action Review System (AAR). The AAR components, less the camera, are built into the training console enabling instructors to record both audio and video of shooter’s interactions to the on-screen situations within the scenario. The replay function in the Branching Video courseware is integrated with the AAR system to enable a simultaneous, side by side video review of these shooters reactions with the scenario playing.
The Interactive Judgmental Trainer is compatible with any of Laser Shot’s weapon systems such as the Taser Training Module, OC Spray Laser Trainer, OC Spray Judgmental Trainer, laser hand trainers, simulated recoil weapons, and drop-in laser recoil conversion kits. As an option, Laser Shot’s exclusive Thermal Shot™ live fire system may be added on to enable a crawl-walk-run training from laser to non-lethal munitions to live ammunition on one training system. With the addition of the Thermal Shot™ system, the Interactive Judgmental Trainer can be used simultaneously with Laser Shot’s laser based weapon trainers and live weaponry.
